So long partner 😢

This week is the final week for semester 7 of our class. As I just realized that time flew so fast and actually there are plenty of things that I would like to share to dearest readers in this blog post. To make it short, I and my group have submitted our course-ware file on google drive link that was provided by Madam Azida.

I am truly satisfied with our group course-ware because we have been fighting last week with lack of sleep on discussing, editing and designing our lesson to make sure the students attracted and continue the lesson until the end of the course-ware content made by us. Although it is hard but we are truly glad that Madam Azida always by our side to guide us and to teach us how to do it properly and to the right way of doing e-learning course-ware.

Lastly, I am truly grateful that I have Madam Azida as our lecturer for this subject because she was very patience with us in guiding on how to do and create each assignments properly and never stop or giving up on us all. I hope that with all the lessons that we have made during this semester will benefits us a lot in the future.

My final piece of word is Happy Ramadan al-Mubarak and in shaa Allah we meet again soon in the other timeframe sooner or later time.

Progressing our E-learning Courseware !

At first we thought that it will become very easy since we are using SmartBuilder application to create our lesson and games. It turns out very difficult even-though SmartBuilder was a very easy application and tutor provided by Madam Azida have helped us a lot.

One of the functions of SmartBuilder that made me very excited was the OnRollOver and OnRollOut functions which at first when we hover the cursor to the particular hotspot, it will pop out an image or any functions that we have designed to do so. I am very excited to do this but at the same time, confused by all of the functions that SmartBuilder had in its program.

We have learned how to insert an audio, how to put each functions to the hotspot and also to do percentage based on each questions that have been answered to provide end results at the of the lesson.

In fact, we are still progressing by this week and hopefully we can finish our e-learning courseware by next week to show it to Madam Azida and to our dearest readers as well !

Week 12 yeay !

Hi everyone ! For this week post is about an assignment that Madam Azida gave to us about creating our own e-learning courseware using SmartBuilder 4 (latest version).

First, e-learning courseware is a tool to create a lesson which includes scenarios, interactive games, and assessments. Using Smartbuilder, it will provide you an easy functions and features to create a lesson and games for your students.

E-learning courseware will be our final assignments for the remaining class for this semester. This week we are going to discuss and plan what are we going to do for our courseware and to promote learning tools to the students and interactive content as well !

Week 11 y'all !

Bonjour everyone ! Its only a few weeks left before our class for this semester ended. For this blog post, I'm going to share to you about Rapid Prototyping Model that I have learnt in the previous class and what I have mentioned in the previous blog post.

What is the definition of Rapid Prototyping Model ?

• An interative process used to visualize what a website or an application will look like in order to get feedback and validation from users, stakeholders, developers and designers.

History of Rapid Prototyping Model

1. Fathers of Modern Prototyping: Hideo Kodama from Japan & Charles Hull from USA
2. The first to describe and develop a process and actual machines that were capable of printing in 3 dimensions (3D)

Stages

1. Prototyping - Creating a solution that can be reviewed and tested.
2. Reviewing - Share the prototype with the users and evaluate if meets their needs and expectations in order to help you understand.
3. Refining - Based on the feedback, designer identify the areas that needs to be clarify.

Here goes week 10!

Welcome back everyone ! For this week we have learnt about 5 different types of instructional design models. The 5 different types is Addie Model, Assure Model, Gagne's 9 Events of Instruction Model, Merrill's Principles of Instruction Model and The Kemp Instructional Design Model.

Wikipedia defines instructional system design as the practice of creating instructional experiences which make the acquisition of knowledge and skill more efficient, effective and appealing. To make it short, instructional design model provides guidelines to organize appropriate pedagogical scenarios to achieve instructional goals.

For this week task, Madam assigned us to do a presentation about this model. It requires a lot of readings and revision to understand how this model works in the first place. I hope you guys stay tuned for my next blog post ! Thank you !

Yes Week 9 !

As I sad in my previous post last week, here is our explainer video that was asked by Madam Azida for our blog post. Iman and Alisa planned and wrote most of the script and as for me, I record and edit the explainer video.

Week 8 !

Week 7 has passed and here it is week 8 everyone !

Madam Azida told us to do a new assignment which is to do an explainer video about a campaign using Powtoon or any other video maker software as well.

I and my groups have chosen a topic about how to recognized uncertified medispa. The reason we have chosen this topic was because that many people had problems with their skins and they do not know which medispa to go. End up they went to several uncertified medispa which have made their skin gotten worse than before.

Hey hooo week 7 !

This week I have to create my own Powtoon video about my life goals. Above is the video that I have made using Powtoon and enjoy my Powtoon video.

It is my first time using Powtoon to create such magnificent video. Madam Azida taught me how to properply use each functions properly and to explore and made our video to the maximum creativity of our own !

Week 6 is here guys !

For this week class, I have been taught about Powtoon. What is Powtoon ?

According to getapp.com, Powtoon is a video editing tool designed to help businesses to create animated videos and presentations for marketing, human resource, information technology and any relevant purposes. Powtoon users are able to have access to a library of royalty-free music, objects, videos and props to enhance their creations.

With Powtoon, I do not have anymore trouble of making my own videos with my own creativity because an amateur like me requires a tremendous effort and time to create such creative video and using a complex and advanced software would definitely put a big wall into my learning process of making such videos.

Hola week 5 !

Hi everyone ! Its already week 5 and in this post I will show to you what were the software that I and my partner used for our podcast editing !

We have been given a task by Madam Azida to create our own podcast in a pair with any free-choice topic. I and my partner Syafiqah have chosen a topic about "How to be happy in your life" after a series of discussion and selecting a very good topic for our listeners.

After we have wrote the script, we were using a variety of audio software for our podcast audio. The list of the software was Audacity (open source), Sony Vegas Pro 13.0 Suite, Adobe Audition and Wavepad Audio Editor. This is because each of the software has its own advantages and features which to increase the quality of our podcast audio.

We used Iphone 8s for recording and record in a wav. file because of its universal format. Right after that, we edit the audiofile using those software that I mentioned in the previous paragraph. I will upload our podcast audio as soon as we finish the last bit of editing part. Stay tuned !

Eh Week 4 already ?!

Huanying everyone ! Time flew so fast and its already week 4 !

For this week class, I have learnt about Podcast which is something I have heard before but never had the change to try it on my own.

According to www.computer.howstuffworks.com, Podcast is a free service that allows internet users to pull audio files (typically MP3 format or any relevant format) from a podcasting Web site to listen to on their computers or personal digital audio or smartphone. In the website did mentioned too that the term comes from a combination of the words Ipod (a personal digital audio player made by Apple) and broadcasting. It does not necessarily requires an Ipod to listen to a podcast. You can use any devices that able to play MP3 file or any audio file.

Anneoyong everyone ! This is the third week post and what I have learnt today is Search Engine and Computer Mediated Communication (CMC).

Nowadays, search engine have become very popular across the globe because of its flexibility and its main function that ease people when it comes to seek information about something that they're not know and used. According to Merriam Webster Dictionary, computer software used to search data (such as text or database) for specified information. Smartphone users are very happy with this tools which will help them a lot whenever, whenever or whatever they need to know.

Next, CMC is a process in which human data interaction occurs through one or more networked telecommunication systems. There are two types of CMC which is synchronous and asynchronous mode. Asynchronous mode does not require all users to be online at the same time and the example are emails and text message which the user can reply later if they are busy with their daily routine. Synchronous mode requires all user to online at the same time and interact in a particular software which have that mode. For example, video call or group video call, or chatroom which all user will be online and interact to each other.

Ohaiyo Week 2 !

This is the second week for our class and today we learned about CALL which stands for Computer Assisted Language Learning and Canva software.

Technically, Canva is a software to create an elementary design. Canva is very easy and convenient to be use at anytime as long as you know what are the things that you wanted to make or edit. I was never exposed about this kind of software until I've learnt it in class and until today I am still using it for education purposes and work matters because of its interface and less complex function and features.

CALL or Computer Assisted Language Learning is one of the language tools. CALL is the general term for the range of processes and activities that employ computers in the teaching and learning of a new language. This tool is extremely beneficial to teachers and learners because teachers can use this tool to teach students based on their performance level whether they are slow learners or an average learners. For learners, they can take their own time to complete the task or activity that has been given by their teacher and they can even learn something new without needing the teacher at present.

Hello and greetings. My name is Muhamad Zorif Bin Ibrahim and I'm 25 years old. I am currently studying Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) in Applied English Language course at Kolej Universiti Poly-Tech MARA Kuala Lumpur. This is my second time writing a blog but yet I am still learning to be a good blog writer. Wish me luck and thank you for reading my blog.

First Class Review.
Today is the first day in the first week of this class.I am very excited to learn about Internet Technologies so I hope I could learn a lot in this class in order to improve my knowledge. My lecturer for this subject is Madam Azida. She is a calm and confident person which seems to be thoughtful and knowledgeable for this subject and she even gave a good and detailed guide to us for this subject including the assessment for this subject.

Expectations.
I am hoping that I can learn a lot of new things and gain knowledge which is outside of my expertise in order for me to prepare for my internship before I ended my Degree study at the end of this year and also knowledge that I can use for my daily life and to help others as well.

Second Class Review.
Today is the second class that I am attending for this subject. Today we had learned about CALL which is an acronym Computer Assisted Language Learning. CALL progression are consists of three types which is Behaviouristic, Communicative and Integrated. This theory is somehow new to me which I have never heard or seen before and I hope by learning this new theory will make me a better student of understanding from different perspective and to help others during my study.
